Add, vision blurr, tunnel vision, mech Ct to legs drift, and add a 30 to 45 second coundown timer to reach safety for 15 second blackout if severly damaged.

AC20 hits upper torso regions roll pilot scale injury chance.
Hard damage at high speeds roll higher chance for pilot damage.
Laser cockpit , ballistic, cockpit hit roll even higher chance
etc...

What do you mean by "if severely damaged"?
Cockpit? Or whole mech? I like the idea and in Lore a lost limb would hit you with feedback through your neurohelmet, but I can imagine the whining about that, justified or not. I mean, did you see how certain segments of the population freaked when clan mechs would lose speed on st loss?

Yes some freaked out. Others just thought it was a bad idea.

Say your in a mist lynx running 120kph get smashed in the side torso for 50 damage losing the torso roll chance for pilot damage increased for speed and violence of the hit high damage taken.

So, on component loss what? Need specifics :) Please.
Random? More than one effect? Depends on amount of damage or something?

Affects all mechs not Factions that makes it more acceptable IMHO.

Would have to be speed , damage taken to Upper Torso or Cockpit. Ballistic damage 20 or higher to upper torso not arms just LT, RT, CT, head get a roll chance. Higher speeds higher chance,

neural feedback for limb loss add squealing noise and static vision blur sparkles in tunnel vision.

I would love all of this, but the MWO playerbase is very divided when it comes to anything that smells of realism and simulation games. Half the players want more realism, the other half would probably cheer if PGI started selling healing potion consumables.

Any grouped damage multiple weapen hits say above 30 damage alpha hit taken has a roll chance. RT, CT, LT, or head. Lower chance for a affect.

CT to Legs drift......pilot dizzy
vision blur
vision blur with sparkles...feedback
tunnel vision or multiples
Add blackout timer reach safety in 45 seconds your about to pass out for 15 seconds.

OP, I like the idea. Maybe as long as the head armor is gone and internals are damaged. Heck, even if the pilot doesn't take damage, maybe smoke or some other evidence of damage would be nice. Monitors going out (No signal goes away :/) and/or the HUD flickers.

Thing is, many people hate anything short of perfect sight. If players can't stand mildly dirty cockpit glass and complain that some maps are crap because they need to use night or heat vision, I can't see the gaming populace wanting to ok anything that could obscure their gameplay (even when it is associated with a bad head hit).

Still, I'd support it if it ever comes up as a legitimate addition to the game.

Like MW4 cinematic of the Vulture Captured Omnimech by the IS getting reaped hard by multiple mechs pilot affected heavily before destruction. I like realistic affects. 50 damage alpha to the CT should rock the mech HARD have pilot damage roll. You may not be affected but 30 chance you will be.

I agree with you, for the most part. Fixed it for ya though ;)

Hahahah Healing potions... Remember Mech Assault? power ups

Problem is that I think PGI would mess it up... Everytime they add something in (Cockpit glass) they go the cheaper and less effective method way of doing it...
