It really seems that heat is suddenly 20% higher since the 4/21 patch. is this intentional? Some of us have our heat management specifically set, and we lost a full alpha.

It's not broken, it's weapon tuning. There may be quirk changes to the 'Mechs you are using that may cause an increase of heat generation or decrease in heat dissipation.

I really do not see anything in the patch notes that leads me to believe this is an intentional change. Further, if it is this bad on the is side, the clans must be melting.

I am now going through footage of my configs to compare heat prior and post patch. The TDR 5SS seems to be the same in the same environment, so possibly the environmental interaction is slowing the cooling.
