I've been fiddling with the controller options since getting into the game again last week. After spectating someone else in the same mech and watching their torso turn rate I figured something was amiss.

Sure enough, I upped the sensitivity on the controller and my maximum turn rate was now much higher.

"Duh" I hear you say. But wait! That's not how it should work.

Low sensitivity should flatten the curve near the centre, it shouldn't mean you have a lower maximum value. It should turn a linear response (at max sensitivity) into a parabolic and ultimately hyperbolic response (at min sensitivity).

Is there any way to make this happen with the current options or do I have to choose between being able to aim vs being able to turn my torso?

That would require math, computer programmers doing math.
