Is anyone else finding these little trash cans with reasonably high mounts to be fantastic little hill humpers? The small silhouette seems to make them even more pernicious as jump snipers too.
I've never been into pop tarting but the urbie and panther are teaching me new things.

I've thought about the high mount weapons on the Urbie as well. Its a plus for sure.
The Panther is a good poptarter. It seems like early in a match, I'm only touching the ground 50% of the time lol.

They great little mechs, but they don't tank quite as well as some of the other lights. If someone decides you shouldn't exist you're basically boned.

Absolutely true, about not tanking well. I still face tank if if I have no other option... But as a cover loving mech the urbie does real well pounding enemies before closing with mg to kill.

High points, not much better than most lights, but if you can see it you can usually shoot it without clipping terrain or hitting other obstructions.
Its actually fairly tanky for a light, most people ignore your legs which is a plus in any light.

If they have speed to outmaneuver me yes, but all my urbies run over 100kph (101 and 106.9). I have had a an atlas try to cahrge me and get wrecked in my R60L as well as a few Clan lights thinking im a slow heavy hitter but when they see the 3 MPL and an AC2 hitting em before they close range they often disengage. The urbie for its size and going that speed becomes very very hard to hit in a 1v1 or even 1v2 brawl situation. I have came out on top a few times even against FS9's and RVN's but they are a mech that if the pilot is skilled enough burns you down in a flash.
As far as the ridge hump and poptart goes....this thing ROCKS! i often can exchange fire and get ZERO damage in return if i play the cover correctly and keep a good angle on the enemy. Because they are trying to hit the Arm and CT of a mech that is the size of a tic tac. Watching them spread damage all over the map and every where else besides me makes me giggle.
Urbies are king of poptart (lolz

Yeah, using other mechs for cover is kind of dirty, but I love doing it.
