No Trueborn would be born with such a defect. Getting such a defect in combat would relegate one to a solahma unit so that one could die a Warrior's death as infantry, but you wouldn't be allowed to pilot a Mech again. The Clans aren't exactly PC when it comes to disabilities you know, regardless of how they come about. Most Trueborns would commit suicide the moment they realized they were disabled, it's simply the way they are, it's what they are taught from birth on out and they see it every day as children. Sibkos, Sibling Companies, the childhood training groups, don't have graduation rates, they have survival rates. Clan Trueborn literally have to survive childhood to become Warriors, be it Aero, Mech or Elemental.

The novels and lore are clear that the Clans use communications quite a bit in combat, so once again, trying to claim that your lack of using VOIP is because you are RPing a Clanner is a bs claim.

If you don't want to use VOIP, don't use it, no need to give us reasons why, because when you give such a bogus reason, it sounds like an excuse.
