well i wouldt say warhammer i really hope it will make it before release or atleast be in the game
the reason? well i think the reason for the warhammer should be in the game is because its in the trailer so why have a mech in the trailer that´s not in the trailer? just askin´

MWO has no trailer.

I would have liked to see the Orion in here. It was ugly as hell but it had a good load out in relation to heat dissipation.

Wasn't pre-Phoenix Project Orion one of the Unseen designs?

By Mass

light -Gonna go with the obvious Urbanmech- but since we know there is a conspiracy against the Urbanmech I will say WolfHound

Med- Enforcer, but close second is the BlackJack.

Heavy- I am gonna say Grasshopper but I really feel that the best Heavy Mechs are unseen or already in game.

Assault-- Here its really a toss up between Zeus and Victor and I will give edge saying I am more suprised the Victor isnt in yet.

The biggest problem is that for this timeline so many of the Iconic mechs are Unseen.

I leave you with one more

It has to be the Urbanmech

I agree on the Enforcer, Zeus and Orion. Some of the Zeus variants would sort of fill the missing Battlemaster's shoes. I'd add Vindicator and Panther to the list.

I'm glad they didn't put he Mauler in. That had to be the most ham-fisted retcon in the history of ever. It should be shunned on principle. The JagerMech is an odd fellow. A/A support is pretty useless in MWO. You'd have to throw out the prime variant, and then you're just left with a mech that reminds everyone that there's no Rifleman.

Edit: Also agree on the Victor someone else added.

Marauder, since it seams popular and probably does'nt look terrible in anyones eyes and looks awesome in most eye's.

Edit: Beaten to it =p

Any medium mech with jump jets. If mediums are the workhorse of the battlefield, you would think there would be one with JJs.

Light: Urbanmech. Huge dedicated fanbase, very common in-universe, 45% weapons & ammo by weight.

Medium: Enforcer. Super common mech. AC-10, large laser, small laser, jump jets, decent armor. Dang fine.

Heavy: Orion. Like everyone else said. Great design. Kerensky drove one.

Assault: Highlander. Big fan base, good mech, one of the few Assault mechs with jump jets.

There's a ton of them, but they're mostly unseen.

So is the archer :P Sad Panda.

Yeah, it's supposed to be one of the most widely used mechs in the IS if TRO3058U is to be believed.

Whats the deal with the whole unseen thing exactly? (I know it had something to do with copyright issues.)

Are we doomed to never see them again?

the downside i see to starting in the year stated is the lack of decent medium mechs that are not "unseen". Let's face this was the time of the LAM's and that was short lived. But i could sure go for a shadow hawk!

Like you say, but with jump jets, i.e. a medium with a movement of at least 5/8/5.

Assassin, Chameleon, Clint, Dervish, Vulcan are all good candidates.

The question is: By design or by variants.

For lights my bet is on Firestarter.
For mediums the Withworth is quite fine.
For heavies I'd also say Orion because the Marauder and Archer are unseen.
For assaults we need something to counter the Atlas (Awesome is just too light), so Banshee (or Highlander) perhaps.
