I see on the sale they have "Faction Patterns" at a discount? What exactly does that mean?

I've looked through the customization and I can see faction color schemes, but that's 1000 for each slot, primary, secondary etc. adding to 3,000 for a full set, a little pricey.

I've looked through Camo patterns, but can't seem to find anything labeled as faction.

Am I missing something?

The patterns are discounted. If you want to buy the colours separately, they are still full price.

So how do I get the full pattern? THis may seem like a dumb question, but I'm really lost in the camo tab.

That pattern's colours are unlocked when you select the pattern. If you try to unlock one of the patterns on sale, you can select its default colours, and the MC price will not increase. This is the same mechanism you see on hero mechs -- their special colours are unlocked just for those mechs.

Ah, I see. each color is 1,,000,, I don't get all three. I thought I did as it was a pattern. Thanks for clearing that up.
