What about that whole off map artillary idea ppl have been typing about.

Instead of it being just an ability how about it actually being a person in a LRM truck or Off world battle ship with orbital bombardment weps keying in the coordinates giving to you by the commander on the field.

If you are working as an industrialist, you better use my merc services.
Otherwise I just "borrow" or "help myself" to the supplies.

Stuff like this would add so much to the game!

And corps can do what all good corps do, buy political favor, IE providing war material and/or C-Bills to the larger political houses. Or they can choose to be an independent dealer living on the edge, with a loose alliance with a number of merc groups.

I've been running this premiss from the Cardboard days. The =]MBA[= Mining and Salvage Company http://mwomercs.com/...0448#entry20448

Since were still on the ground floor for this little venture there are still quite a few "Board" Member spots open. Must be willing to play under the "It's just a game. I'm here to have fun.". No griefers please.

This thread is full of awesome ideas. I need to open a Word document and start drafting fleshing out some ideas.
