Stewart Dragoons Juggernaut is a recently returned sub-unit of the Free Worlds League Militia. We're interested specifically in competitive drops for community-run leagues, tournaments, and clan wars.

SDJ requires a bit more from its members than most units. It is not a requirement that you already be an elite pilot, but it IS a requirement that you be willing to put forth the time and effort to become one. We try to maintain a balance between flexibility and hard work. Our rules are as follows:

1) Constantly strive to be a better pilot. This is done in many ways, but you should try to become well-rounded by attempting all of them.
1A) Specialize. Don't over-extend yourself trying to play everything. Find your play style and stick with it.
1B) Study your opponents. Watch live streams, tournament videos, and anything else you can find to review strategies, tactics, and piloting improvements.
1C) Practice. Practice both with AND without your unit. Logging in is a mandatory activity to achieve greatness. I'm not going to attach a specific time requirement, but I would expect to see each member logged in multiple times per week on average.

2) Read the forums daily. This involves the House Marik forums, the Mechwarrior Online forums, and (provided we get one) the SDJ forums.

3) Develop leadership skills. When in PUGs or FWLM quick-drops take the lead if nobody else is. The amount of time you should be putting in for studying should give you more knowledge of strategy than most others. Use that to help others.

4) Be disciplined. Wear the proper uniform (ie. FWLM tag, unit tag, name). Follow the chain of command. Listen to orders on the battlefield (and execute them).

5) Continue to revise strategies. Don't get stale. Whenever you see an opportunity to try something new in a non-competitive drop, do it. Be inventive.

This is definitely not the unit for everyone. You must be willing to put in work, accept criticism, and strive to be the best. If this sounds like the type of unit you've been looking for then either post here or join us at www.house-marik.net and find me in Teamspeak. If not, then good luck in your travels and I hope you find the type of unit that you're seeking.
