Unfortunately the only way to reliably get into matches with the stupid logic that's in the current queue is to hop on the hub and join a 12 man, even that takes 5-10 minutes on average.
Also might not hurt to send a message to support asking for a refund on whatever your last purchase was - not that you'll get it, but they might actually start to realize that people are actually dissatisfied with the product they are delivering because they sure as heck don't read the forums or anywhere that posts honest reviews.
^ That might be over the line to suggest, but I really don't know any other way to get the attention of a dev team that's so intent on ignoring its player base.

Only real flaw with the event is that the CW matchmaker does not scale well to battles this large. Fix that, and everything is fine. Players can manually get around that by making 12-man groups, and all is fine after that too.
I have not gotten frustrated even once with the wait times so far.

No need to be overly dramatic. PGI isn't ignoring anyone. They are well aware of the issue that solo players/small groups are facing, but there's not much they can do at this point in the event. Check Russ's twitter feed. He's mentioned that as one of the biggest issues with the event.

Because that's the official feedback site for MW:O.
Here's a better idea....why doesn't Russ come to the forums for the game that he's supposedly in charge of creating and let everyone know?

Let say every IS pugger formed a 12 man, a few problems would still exist.
A: Why is it when I've been waiting in Q and we lose a guy all the rest of the group gets kicked to the back of the line? That's horse****. Pull a guy up from behind us to fill the gap, letting individual units that meet the requirement pass until ours can be, then let us through in a timely fasion. that should have been set up from the start and if it's not implemented later thats just messed up.
B: I get giving some priority to 12 mans in the Q but at some point solo or smaller groups time waited needs to override that. Like if a restaurant keeps setting up tables for big groups by putting all their smaller tables together that walk in while you've been waiting for a table for 2 at the bar for an hour... thats just inhospitable, infuriating and frustrating...
C: the problem still exists that even if every IS pug made a 12 man Clan tech is still too inaccessible to average players, being locked behind massive time investments or real money transactions, or just role play or aesthetic issues players have, that the clan population is tiny, and the IS huge so the wait times would be just as bad as if you were pugging. A lot of people dont have clan tech or don't want to use trial clan tech, or can't invest in legit clan tech to be able to even out the population, even with their free transfer through support offer now, why wasn't this foreseen before the start of the event. You know how many is vs clans there are... there should have been balance in the rewards or goal to reflect this...

Not to too fine a point on it, but it probably has to do with attitudes like the ones being displayed in this thread. The people on twitter are much more civil.
For my part, it's much more preferable to ask a question directly to the president of the company and get a response within a matter or hours. Much more effective than trying ti shout over the crowds in here.
