I know this has probably been asked but I heard there were some books in the Battletech universe. Where can I get these at a decent cost? and which ones should I get to start?
I only ever played the games growing up, never knew there were books in the same universe.

Big time Star Wars fan, would like to get into this lore as well.

the first book I've seen in the Battletech universe was 'Decision at Thunder Rift', which chronicles the beginning of The Grey Death Legion, a merc unit. this is what got me hooked on Battletech and when I did get the tabletop game, I chose an Icon and told my friends that this was The Grey Death icon, (even though it actually wasn't) :P

ebay & Amazon or maybe also Half.com.

The best places to find them would be either goodwill if you're VERY lucky, because they will be uber cheap. Or most likely amazon and ebay. I personally own every novel ever published in english. They average between 3 dollars at the low end, up to around $30 for the very early versions such as "Sword and the Dagger" I think its titled?

EDIT: Added in the image. Here they are in all of their glory.

Try this site/link: http://www.battlecor...ex.php?cPath=27

it's the Topps-licensed source I believe; they sell both dead tree and pdf versions of almost all the books it looks like-
