I've had all the banshees previous, the champ version is very tempting. Intimately familiar with it. GREAT mech. to this day still one of the highest KtD ratios of any mech- about 600 battles in it
that said, I may well go with the clan offering, mostly run clan mechs now...I'm at 32 points, so I have a day to figure it out
but like others, I've read that warhawk is a piece of poo

I got the Cheese Hawk. It sells for 7 mill.

I took it out for a spin, flammer and all and I have since dubbed it the Cheese Hawk because it is OP. If i could make the OP large page 3 of this topic would read O and page 4 would read P.

Most are saying dont take the Warhawk maybe to screw their fellow player out of the extra creds selling it gets you or so players dont see how EASY MODE clan mechs are.

Some are saying the Banshee is better but how many Banshees does anyone see running around as compared to the Cheese Hawk. Nice try though on the disinformation front lol.

Actually I have found that the Peacedove with dual UAC-10 ballistic omnis's with its jam reduction quirks is pretty nasty.

Hmm, I'm torn. Generally I'm more aligned for IS, but I have been slowly building up a small stable of clan mechs in case I ever end up on that side, and Masakari's tonnage would fit my deck pretty well. That Banshee is a champion, however, and seems like a really nice machine. I could use another IS assault too. Then again, I like to have weapons in hands and Banshee doesn't do that.

I guess I must decide it with my more esoteric preference that comes from my using headtracking. I like to be able to see to the sides and up too when possible. Which one has better cockpit view? I'm guessing the Masakari, but what say you?

Went with the WHK, seems fun and as someone pointed out, I see more warhawks than banshees

i played both and the banshee is the better option ... highmounted lasers vs the low armed clan...and it can take more punishment than that useless clan

the C does give u an xp bonus

In open queue without restrictions there is really no reason to chose either over the DW.
But on the other hand, not being a DW is a problem every assault but the DW has.

A little crazy but I choose the Warhawk to make C-Bills and then tried the Banshee as trial mech.
And I liked it that much that I bought it with Mc again (luckily its still on sale and had the MC on my account) and the two others.

My prefered Banshee is the one with 3 AC5 and 3 ERLL (BNC-3E). Its a blast to play.
The other 2 are also good but unmastered nothing outstanding (the 3E is outstanding, also unmastered).

So my advice. Get the Banshee!!!

i chose the BNC-3(C) and 2 popped up in my inventory. is there a reason there's 2 there? it's my first IS mech, i have no others.

Either the second one is a trial mech or you had a lot of luck and better be quiet and enjoy it.

Played 7 games in pug queue, it seems to be an ok mech even if it's not king of the hill.
