Sony secured the rights for Harmony Gold's version of Macross, the Robotech saga with an aim to make a live action version. They reported have a script in development and are pursuing James Wan to direct it.
No estimate of release date yet. Maybe if a Robotech movie des well copycat Hollywood will spit up a BattleTech movie.
