...and then: "Ceasefire in effect, no new matches will commence."
Well, that was disappointing.
How about giving me that extra point, PGI? All we pilots who played IS spent literally hours of our lives waiting for matches over the past few days.
It's a shame to fall one short, especially when there was still time on the counter.

Damn. Same happened to me. 20 mins on the counter on the website but ceasefire was on a different counter... kinda misleading.

i.e. the deadline for starting was 30 minute earlier than the end of the event to let all the ongoing matches to qualify

Send a ticket to support. They might actually help.
They might also stare at your request and wonder how they can let you down gently, but it never hurts to try.

Grinders need to grind early and often.
5 hour blocks for 10 points is really painful and tiring.

Really good going if that's from IS side. Even in a 12man there most matches would never queue and finish within 30mins. More like 5hrs for 8 points realistically. Easily less on sat and sunday when the queue was so packed.. and even less so if solo.

Well, when the matches end more or less @ 20-25 mins, ontop of the 5-10 minute waiting times due to queue sizes (it went under 3 mins at certain hours of the day)... it's doable... but I had to catch up.
I'm pretty sure everything that relates to this is eff PGI at this point. /sigh
