As the title says.

In Lore, the Wolfhound is described as a ferocious, lean mech, with a lupine head design complete with ears, to the point it was often described as looking like an Egyptian Avatar of a God. "Grinner", Phelan Kell's, personal WLF-1 was even described to have had the Ears converted to an ECM suite when Khan Ulrich Kerensky ordered it rebuilt as a WLF-IIC.

TBH, no artist has EVER translated that aspect well in any of the official art. Alex did a nice job (though I hope it ends up slimmer in game) but stuck with a pretty contemporary head design (similar to the one seen in the Wolf Dragoons Sourcebook and TRO 3050, I believe).

But would it be too much to hope that the Special Model at least gets the Ears added, even in a vegistial manner, like the mini wing-blades on the Resistance Zeus?

Agreed. I barely recognised it as a Wolfhound except for the torso lasers (taking into account the "+1" for rear laser).
Wolfie needs ears!

Please PGI, add a more lupine head to the Wolfhound. The art isn't bad, but please, at the very least for the special geometry make the head wolflike!

Yes, tell Stackpole, not me.

And technically, Osiris became lord of the underworld, whereas Anubis and Nephthys were Guardians of the Dead.

I would have liked a Wolf-ish mech, not a another Firestarter-ish mech. The Panther was a perfect example of what to do, correctly.
