I work for a defense contractor as a network engineer. We use mostly Cisco equipment, a little Juniper. Started out in IT desktop support then moved onto Servers and internetworking. Degree in IS concentration in Networking and now started Masters Classes part time in the nearby university in Network Management.

I need this game to relax from classes and work, and I love my MW games of old table top and PC….

Yep. From 2000-2011 I worked there tracking every satellite outside of Earth orbit (besides Voyager 2).

So were you one of those soldiers who got lost and had to find their way by finding "the big dishes?" :D

I didn't but I know they were often used landmarks for Soldiers who lost their way. I took the tour out there one year, it was interesting. I kinda remember a museum of sorts but the desert plays tricks on the mind so I may have been just drunk. It really just had displays that showed pictures of different space exploration crafts and missions.

I work in mining though, so even the IT work was very dirty and hands on.

Cool. I am a SAP consultant for a major insurance company. Focus is on collections and disbursement.
