I head up an R&D Dept at a large software dev firm specializing in Business Intelligence.

I mostly work on Artificial Intelligence, and Predictive Analytics technology, developing new ways to interpret massive amounts of data in useful ways.

I also do "fringe" research at work to fill in time (and boost staff morale). Like build robots, aircraft, and all kinds of fun stuff.

We also do some game dev here and there.

Farmer. We have a family vineyard in the Central Valley of California, primarily Thompson Seedless grapes, expanding into Orange and Black Muscat grapes, and we also do Almonds.

Also going to college part time, taking some classes in electrical and welding before I pursue a degree in Viticulture.

I'm a Software Engineer. I primarily work in PHP and Ruby using Rails. Right now my major project is an IVR composed of java interacting with asterisk for our circulation department.

Anyone have any experience with Asterisk? It's awesome...

Last year I worked at a small flower shop and green house, now im working at a dog kennel/daycare and when I go into college I hope to pursue agriculture or veterinary sciences.
