Title pretty much says it all.
An in-game mute/ignore feature, preferably including an overall chat on/off toggle, would be great. It's a pretty basic function, and this is the first online multiplayer game I've seen in a long time that doesn't include it.

You can mute someone in game as far as VOIP goes... Hold tab so the player list shows up, and click on the speaker of the person you want to mute.... muted.

Unfortunately, this resets every drop, however. I usually mute my teammates who are on TS with me, because I get a horrible echo thing when they talk into the VOIP and TS simultaneously... So, I have to re-mute them every drop.

You can remove enemy team from the text chat you see in the Options. But, there's nothing for individual players.

Perma ignore is soon to come.. I hope!
Same with typed chat, would be great to perma ignore some people.

That would be awesome! They have that in STO; if someone is prattling on or just flat out being offensive, I can just hit "Ignore" and it adds that person to a list, never to be heard from again!
