I am a newb to MWO. I did like 10 Missions in the battletech pods at Origins Game fair in June and fell in love with MW. I just did a search on non console MW games and found this. I feel like I found a new home.

So, I was just winderin what the scoop is here online.

Welcome aboard!

The scoop? Well, not a whole lot... everyone's chomping at the bit, waiting for the game to be released!

Champing at the bit, by the way ;-)

Anyway, the deal is that we're on the last week (at most) for purchasing founder status, the beta is currently closed and has an NDA attached to it, all founders are not automatically brought into the beta upon purchase of a pack and the rest of us will begin entering the OPEN beta after August 7th, IIRC. (I'm going to get a founder pack but I am juggling cash and negotiating with my wife ;-) )

"ain't" is perfectly correct and contrary to what a lot of people are told, it's not 'uneducated' rather the reverse; it's older and was used by aristo. It was the 'middle classes' who invented the notion of 'proper' English (meaning the version they spoke and were increasingly codifying and teaching to children) along with some hilarious hypercorrection. For example, those of us who say "-ing" words to rhyme with kin and not sing are perfectly correct. In the 19th C (working from memory here, if someone knows the date to be earlier go for it) the latter pronunciation had not been used for centuries but the spelling had not altered (written language is very conservative, usually at least a generation behind spoken), so certain people took it upon themselves to 'correct' this 'mispronunciation' *eye roll*

TL;DR - Prescriptive grammarians are a bore and often wrong through ignorance.

The phrase you used is currently rapidly replacing the 'correct' one but I'm a pedant, if only in a deliberately tongue-in-cheek way, usually.
