Stomping out onto the sands of the arena, the Thunderbolt smashed its fists together menacingly before leaning back and thrusting its arms wide, firing off all 8 of its medium lasers skyward in a dazzling display of emerald light. The mad growl of the pilot echoing across the stadium thanks to its external speakers.

Ignoring the heat build up that turned his cockpit into a sauna, Tony fired off another glittering volley before turning his attention to the Western Gate. By the time the announcer finished introducing his opponent, the heat will have long since dissipated, allowing him to turn the full fury of his arsenal on his hapless victim. An almost feral grin split Tony's face as the Western Gate began to rumble open. "Man it's good to be the Top Dog!" he howled.

He then died being baked alive as his heatsinks failed him allowing the excess heat to turn the cockpit into an oven.

LMAO. I was recently playing a TT game where one of the guys I was playing against fielded an assault carrying 2 HPPCs and 10 med lasters... Somehow this reminded me of that.
