[Too Much Love]

Dear PGI, explain to me why I have to download 500 mb of repairs after the patch?

And the speed of download is like 56 kbps?

Last patch required using the repair tool to enable a large portion of changes. This patch was supposed to be "ultra-fast".
Two hours for 100mb, really PGI? That's not even "ultra-fast" for a snail.

I got a decent line, this should have been a matter of minutes. As in 10 minutes tops.

The problem that I don't understand the purpose of it. Why is it happening? Will it happen all the time now? What is those repairs? Why some people have no repairs, while others have to download 500 mb?

Downloading some 440 MB file as well. But really, I wouldn't give a toss whether it's 10 MB or 500 MB if the downloaded speed wasn't ludicrously slow. Do they have a dialup up at PGI?

Happens to me too sometimes on my computer, Servers get filled up with matches and stuff and has a hard time sometimes distributing information based on where and what your connection is.

Sometimes it takes awhile for the various download servers to sync org or your computer to sync. There is something like an IP or DNS dump you can do that might re-sync you.

Or it's something on your end.

Ok, speed is slow because PGI can't afford more servers.

But WTF is repair downloads and why everybodies repairs are different?

50mb additional repair on top of the patch, 1 min D/L for me.

Prior to "The Big Fix" for last month's patch, I hadn't ever touched the repair tool & never really noticed any difference..

I apparently have 24 repair files to download

I was playing yesterday, so I'm not sure what I could've broken

After the patch, me and my friend's repair files were the whole game pretty much. I saw 5 pages of files and some were past a gig each. Don't know how that happened.

I patched pretty quick then ran the repair tool, tons of mismatches. Fixed that and ran the tool again..MORE mismatches...third time is the charm but how does the repair tool NOT actually repair your whole client???
