Not to besmirch the "glory" of an endless PvP Deathmatch game - and only assuming I understand the economics of a free to play system that has cost me four times the price of buying a new PC game, how about sliding in a bit of MW1-4 for the long time fans and giving us a single player Merc unit leading campaign that can be played off line for fun.

I know that sounds like a lot of money and time, but how about this - just steal the campaign from MW2 Mercs and port it over entirely.

For the love of G-d, I'd just like to enjoy this game for a change by pounding AI enemies across a long campaign.

Just cheat and let us enjoy the one thing a mechwarrior game should have other than stompy robots:

An honest single player campaign.
