1. Create an inverted set of faction icons. For example reverse the red and black on the Kurita banner. So when companies are playing merc / LW - they pick the merc/LW icon for that faction (which is inverted).
2. Contracts / Rewards
a. change contract lengths as below.

Provide each contract inherent bonuses which factor on the money / LP earned IN GAME.

Merc
1 Week + 5% Cbill
2 Weeks + 10% Cbill
1 Month + 15% Cbill
2 Months + 20% Cbill
Lone Wolf
1 Week + 5% Cbill
2 Weeks + 5% Cbill, +2% LP
1 Month + 7% Cbill, +5% LP
2 Months + 10% Cbill, +5% LP
Finally Change End of match rewards
Faction
Win + 100 k cbill + 100 LP
Loose + 50 k cbill + 50 LP
Merc
Win + 150k Cbill + 0 LP
Loose + 75k Cbill
Lonewolf
Win + 125k Cbill + 25 LP
Loose + 65k Cbill + 10 LP
This creates a clear visual separation between Loyalists and Mercs and Lone wolves via the icon displayed.
It also creates specific reward schemes similar to the existing rewards but more directly correlating between lore. After all - Merc are only governed by the Cbills right?
Now this does NOT mean that Mercs cannot get LP rewards - but they only earn LP with in game achievements / results.
Thus the "Faction" that is hiring mercs pays them more, but they do not earn loyalty as fast and the other rewards associated with them.
Lone wolf get a little better cash - but a little worse LP. thus rewarding them as the fence sitters they are. the house is giving them a little LP to encourage them to come join permantley.
The Loyalists get considerably better LP rewards + depending on the contract a good bonus to Cbills - but they have to declare their loyalty for a much longer time to take full advantage of what is being offered.
