It's superfluous... It's tedious and lastly pointless.

In the absence of solo queue being nothing but a series of random matches with no cohesion or goals outside of game-mode mechanics that would require lance adjustments

The ready button is nothing but a irritating abrasion point for players just trying to get into a game while watching and waiting for players to ready up.
