Well it does emulate 32 bit if your computer is 64 which makes the processors do something to make the game a little slower don't know all the details maybe someone does.

I was so stunned by the change in the mechbay appearance, I had to shut down for at least another six hours to contemplate this development.
What will this mean for my future? For the world? OMG - the children!
I may still be in shock.

Well, now I won't have a choice. I'll be crossing my fingers.

Sure you do. Just indicate you want to use the 32 bit version instead (through the cogwheel icon when you start the game, same location as the repair tool). That's what I did when it turned out I was missing some dll's. But I'll be trying to get those dll's tonight and try the 64-bit environment.

I had to patch my monitor driver to bump up to 64bit. Now if I could only get a stable FpS I'd be happy.

As of the most recent patch you'll be running the 64 bit client by default (in a 64 bit OS, obvs). If you're getting the same thing I did, this is what you need to do:

These two files are required for running the 64-bit version of the MechWarrior Online client. As of May 5th 2015, all 64-bit systems will automatically start the MWO client in 64-bit mode.
