You do get the bonus items in the personal challenge.
Next to this I agree with your and all the other Veteran Founders' complains that you cannot contribute to the "Founders community challenge".

Speaking as a non-founder I say let the neigh-sayers neigh. I think this is a nice token of appreciation to the founders. They have been left out for quite sometime and took the risk before there was a game to play. They probably deserve more involvement or rewards. Makes me wish I took the plunge back in the day.

I'll play some matches. I guess I'll start in my Founders Atlas but for some reason I've always struggled in it. I play significantly better in a Stalker, Battlemaster, Thunderbolt or Victor. I'll try to contribute to the 50k founders kills, but I'm more interested in the rewards for 30 match score so I might have to quit on the Atlas.

Problem with letting the veteran founders buying the mechs is what what would consider a fair price for them?

I'm not a Founder ... wish I had been, was too busy playing MW:LL at the time.

I think the Founders were hard done by and anything that can be done for them now is a worthwhile thing to do.

It's nice that we non-Founders get to participate as well.

Followup - got out my Jenner to dust off and got 3 kills on the first trial run. Wow - shame it didn't count
