I like my mobility, though, so that's why I waited until I had the ability to drive a Wolverine before I got into the Medium Class, and yes, I love that 'Mech. It's been my favorite since joining the BattleTech universe in '84, and it remains my favorite.

I am a Founder ... would participate and dust off my Atlas and Catapult... but not if my ONLY choice is to drop in the Solo Queue. I play MWO to play with my friends and my Unit. WHY do you force me to play Solo to participate in that portion of the challenge? You have been doing to well with the Queue Choice not affecting the challenge but now you revert back to this Makes me sad

Actually, could give out a Founder's Jenner to all Founder's levels... I wouldn't mind having 2 :3 Actually, I really regret missing out on the Sarah's Jenner :/ But, it came and went while I was away from the game...

Haha, we'll knock out 50K kills before end of Saturday, so don't worry about kill count... I saw a lot of people out in Founder's mechs last night refamiliarizing themselves with them.

Not making leaderboard kind of sucks, but at least the prizes aren't extravagant, so you're not missing out on TOO much...

Maybe just throw Veteran founder's a bone and give them 25% of what they could get if they came in the top 5? Might make the rest of us upset I suppose.... Gosh that is a pickle...

All founders is misleading.

You can still vote if we make the kill counts, and you'll still get the bonus prizes for the Personal challenge... You're really not missing out on all that much...

If youre at it: Take care of that incredible ugly pixelated snow in Alpine Peaks on the frozen lakes. These give away pretty easily, that the terrain brushes were just scaled up into infinity and not replaced by own. You can literally see the pixels

well I just learned that different countries recognize Mothers day on different dates, in the UK it is 3 weeks before Easter, meaning March or early April (the 15th of March this year)

BUT on a lighter note, this is another step in the right direction. Dont let anyone slip away and keep those founders happy!

In case you missed it ... there is a personal challenge for everyone that covers most of the rewards. The only bonus founders get are a weekend leaderboard for founders mechs and some prizes for the top folks plus a "vote" on which map to do next if they get enough kills ... considering they are probably doing them all eventually ... I don't see it as a big deal.

Also note the variable time of day capability of the new maps ... I think the distinct "night" versions will be a thing of the past with time of day functionality providing the same ability.

Anyway, I don't understand how you deduce "the Founders are in fact NOT playing" ... seems you assume that the point of the event is to try to pull founders back to the game ... which is ludicrous since the rewards are certainly not enough to tempt someone to play who left because they were dissatisfied with the game. There have been far more attractive rewards in other contests in the recent past that would have been far more likely to tempt folks out of retirement.

My take is that the event gives founders a reason to use those (F) mechs that they have had for nearly 3 years and likely use very rarely these days since in many cases their capability has been superceded by new mechs.It is also a way of acknowledging their early game contribution getting MWO off the ground in the first place without giving them anything really significant (the loyalty mech program from last fall was a far larger event).

Anyway, I will see if I can get a chance to get in a few matches ... would have been nice if the event wasn't on Mother's Day weekend but c'est la vie
