Bug 1: Any of the 'green icon squares' that are above the toggles and below the checkboxes on the right hand side of mechlab are only showing 'click to view faction details' in the tooltips. Happens on every screen in the mechlab.


Bug 2: Any of the 'green toggle rectangles' that are below the icon squares and above the equipment list on the right hand side of the mechlab are only showing 'click to view faction details' in the tooltips. Happens on every screen in the mechlab.


Bug 3: Any equipment that is moused over on the right hand pane does not reliably show the 'explanatory tooltip' that details the item's function. It can be forced to display by moving the mouse over then quickly selecting it by clicking, however it only behaves this way 'most' of the time and is completely absent in other scenarios.


Bug 4: Any equipment in the 'slots' on the left/middle of the screen shows 'click to view faction details' when moused over, equipment shows a tooltip relevant to the item with the EXCEPTION of modules, which show no tooltip.


Bug 5/UI Gripe 1: When selecting a new section of the mech, the 'equipment type' filter swaps back to 'weapons' even if another was selected. If this is unintentional, please preserve current filter selections, if it is intentional, please reconsider as you are adding extra clicks to set up a mech when it could be done in one pass for each equipment filter.


Bug 6/UI Gripe 2: There is no way to set/see chain fire on weapon groups in mechlab. Please indicate wether a group is on chainfire and provide a way to toggle it within mechlab.


UI Gripe 3: Please put the save, cancel, and reset buttons in the SAME LOCATION! Cut down on unneeded movement/clicking! I would say the same about the different section toggles like Mech Select, if you open it you have to move to the opposite corner of the screen to close it - why? Put all of that in the top left as all of the logic is shared/action related.


Bug 7: When selecting a mech from 'mech select' list, it shows 'chat only to those in your unit' on the tooltips over the individual mechs.


UI Gripe 4: The 'energy' weapon icon is not intuitive, please reconsider (the lightning bolt icon was pretty universal, what ever this current one is, an explosion I guess? is only capable of being figured out by deduction). The same can be said for ECM, a sattelite/radar dish with a cancel/no smoking (/) over it would be a useful representation, a 'lightning cracked shield' makes no sense at first glance as a reference to ECM, it looks like something that defeats armor or shields of some sort.


UI Gripe 5: Building on 4, the icons in general are either counterintuitive or completely nonsensical. Lightning bolts for ECM and BAP? What do either of those have to do with lightning/energy? An explosion for energy weapons? Ballistics and missile makes sense, AMS is vague (needs to have a broken missile or a phalanx anti-missile icon) etc. Basically, rework your iconography here, it is pretty slapdash and confusing!


Bug 8/UI Gripe 6: Double clicking on an item doesn't auto-add it to the section if possible, but it does remove it. I like the functionality of double click to remove rather than having to make mouse-movement art just to build a mech, please expand this functionality to the right side equipment menu.


Bug 9/UI Gripe 7: On the left hand 'configure' menu, it doesn't display tooltips until I select the item by clicking on it. Further, at times it retains the old tooltip UNTIL I click on a new option, even if my mouse has moved somewhere else (makes it really frustrating when trying to click the option above the currently selected item, because you can't, the tooltip is in the way).
