Try the AC10/3MPL version of the hunchie sometime. Despite the venom the AC10 gets these days, it's still pretty powerful with the range, and it lets you bump up the guts of that Hunchie more than the AC20 build:

Used to swap a laser for TAG, but decided heck with it, and just figure I'll laser whatever has ECM, instead.

I swap back and forth between the TAG too. It is nice when it is a wide open map, but damn those small maps and things running up on you.

Honestly I think this should be the champion build for it. It is a build that has survived many iterations and I've had it on mine not long after CB till now with no changes.

Ugh. But the 4G has such good A/C20 quirks. Like really good A/C20 quirks.

If you haven't played it post-quirk pass, I recommend keeping the A/C 20 and trying it a few matches before ditching it.

It really does, dont' get me wrong. But 3ml,ac20 gets old after a while. Gotta shuffle things occasionally.

Cut down on the ammo, you don't really need that much. You can have 3 tons and a 250 engine, that's a much better deal.

Nope, the ac20 is why it exists, not speed. I have plenty enough speed for what I do, and prefer not to spend half the match relying on my lasers. I'll stick to what I know works for me, thanks. MeiSooHaityu can confirm just how much I need my ammo. 3 tons is a mere 410 damage before being left to lasers alone. 4.5 tons allows me 620 good, tasty PP-FLD dmg on top of my lasers.

My Hunchback-4G(F)

I know, it's heretical to not mount an AC/20 on a 4G, but, I never found my groove with the big gun ( I admit, I've not tried it post quirks, someday I will). Sometime in early 2013, I through this build together... and I've never looked back. I've had sooo much fun with this config. It's excellent at suppression, can attack at medium to long range as needed, and it can do very well in brawls. It's been hilarious to attack clan mechs with this thing, as the autocannons just relentlessly dig into them. It's a beautiful sight.
