One thing the fans have been asking for since UI 2.0 was a way or method to easily locate module and cockpit items. I have seen so many people asking for this (myself included) that when Russ said a new mechlab was coming based more on Smurfy, we all though for sure that it would include an quick and easy way to locate modules and cockpit items.

The new mechlab looks great and is a huge improvement over the old one, but one thing I am upset about and many many others are too is the lack of being able to quickly locate and remove modules and cockpit items. Granted the new lab makes it slightly easier to find them, but for someone like myself who owns 120+ mechs, it can still take a really long time to find things.

I am not a programmer so I have no idea if what I am about to request is easy or would require a complete overhaul of the system but here goes. Is it possible, when in the mechlab, to create a Unequip All Modules and Unequip all Cockpit Items buttons? When a user clicks on the Unequip All Modules button a popup could appear with check boxes for Consumables, Mech, and Weapons. Something similar for cockpit items would be cool as well.

This way when we are the last person in a 12 man group to ready up because we can't find the modules we need, we click the button, and all are there.

The following link is a thread on /r/OutreachHPG where the module location issue is a main topic of discussion.

What I'd like to see regarding Modules is the Inventory screen that displays Modules divided into Available and Installed modules. The Installed list could have the owned modules listed each on a row with the name of the mech in which the module is installed, and a button to quickly Unequip the module from that mech (or at least a button/link that takes the user directly into that mech's Modules screen for equip/unequipping/save changes.

This would provide two significant benefits: (1) A vastly more efficient way to get directly to the desired modules and (2) communicating to the player in one list the location and status of every owned module.
