You probably already know how I feel about the Catapult arms so I'm not going to go into that, but let's be realistic, PGI has never ever rescaled a mech, no matter how many times people asked for it. Why on Terra would you think they'll start now? There's plenty of other things PGI could do for the Catapult that they have done for other mechs in the past such as undoing old nerfs and tweaking hitboxes, so don't waste your time asking for the one thing you're never going to get.
In response to complaints about the Catapult's size we got what exactly? Internal structure quirks, that's what. That should be your answer and it sounds suspiciously like a resounding "nope".

Yea, a mech will never be resized, ever (according to PGI). Still, I have no problem stating that the Catapult needs a resize because it is true.

I suggested making structure and armor quirks be based on model scaling instead of the slapdash random way that PGI has implemented them.

Why wouldnt they start now? Giving up and throwing in the towel is cool and all, but not for me. If you simply give on on something that needs to be done, it never will be. Like your sig says, "Never Forget", or did you decide to use that because other people are?

Im sure someone that has worked with 3d models can give you the finer points, but depending on how they did the models, its a simple as entering a value that basically says "shrink." The only reasons I can see them not wanting to do this are they dont have a person that can do it, or they dont want to put the minimal effort in. But hey, if you want, let them slide.

You can stop with the thinly veiled insults by the way. Not really necessary in a public forum discussing the finer points of mech construction. ;)

The signature has nothing to do with the Catapult's size as you are well aware. You're wasting your time arguing for a lost cause instead of trying to find a solution PGI might actually accept because you're hung up on one specific idea of what the Catapult should be. Who cares if the Cat is fragile because it's big, it can be balanced some other way. PGI could make it hit harder or make it more agile, I don't really care what they do with it as long as it works and they fix the damn missile racks.

Do you honestly believe no-one at PGI can rescale a mech? They simply refuse to and there's absolutely nothing we can do to force them, read my previous paragraph again if you want an actual solution.

You must be imagining things, there are no insults anywhere in my previous post.
