These ideas aren't bad but I don't think it's the right time to do this. There is no kind of money/item sink in this game to put more of this on top of what little there is to spend money on. The XPx2 is even something I think needs replacing. In order to give casuals a leg up I think they should do something like other games where a bonus xp gain is given based on time logged off the game.

In some other post I replied that for CW and coffers, an item discussed back in the beta days never implemented, a unit or individuals could accumulate money/points to spend in shoring up planetary defenses or attack force in some way. They could either contribute to a general pool or only activate things when they are present.

They could add something to the UI now that when you are back in the Mechlab after a match you see some windows on the right showing you that you just earned progress to one or more of the achievements. This would help in keeping people aware of those achievements and give us something to look at and feel like there is progression going on.

I don't know where they are going long term with these things, but this isn't the right time for something like this.

Would be great if unit coffers could be used to rent extra/better trial mechs that can be used by members of the unit.
