Easy. Up the rewards to reflect time.

Avoid outright burnout by adjusting drop tonnage and rewards on a planet basis.

Dropping next to your starting planet? Here's 250 tons, but you'll get normal rewards. Dropping next to the enemy homeworld? Here's 180 tons, but you'll get triple rewards.

Paul will be rolling in his grave over the amount of cbills earned...

These are some thoughts I had that would give serious meaning to both being aligned with a faction for long periods of time and fighting for planets as often as possible. I would love for people to chime in with additions/alterations/etc. to allow me to improve upon the idea and hopefully make something that will allow us all to find the immersion and purpose to CW that so many posters appear to be seeking.

What I want out of CW is more or less what we had back with Kesmai in the really old days:

-Implementation of Houses with unit formation and CoC based on the lore
-Implementation of Merc Units with assets
-General concept of personal mechs having a location, logistics to playing in different areas of the map
-Economic consequences for winning and losing individual battles
-Strategic considerations such as supplies, supply lines, raids, deep strikes
-Actually deploying strategic assets to affect the war (jumpships, dropships, lances, mechs)

I have wanted this since the very beginning, since I first heard of this game. I want this game to have RTS elements, some concepts can be copied and adapted to the BT universe from Heroes and Generals: players send assets, those assets determine what gets played in a particular mission offensively and defensively.
