It's fine, no harm or foul.. It was just a bunch of cross cultural miss understanding is all. btw, here are some catapult builds in case what i wrote was confusing.

C1, runs cooler, has more brawl ability, a bit faster than how i run the c4. You use Tag to knock down ECM. This one with tag can effectively toss LRM's from farther by being able to knock down a single ECM for up to 700m? or is it 500? i forget exactly.

C4, hits harder than the c1, has less up close damage, but the streaks and ML's are nice against lights. Has Bap for ECM counter, but needs to be in the 250 range to really keep it of and be effective, this mech is a Skirmisher attacking right behind your front lines.

K2, was once one of the most feared mechs around, now it is still a pretty darn good mech when played right, though like all catapults, they have a higher degree of skill needed to keep them alive due to large CT and hit boxes. this is really the long range catapult, 500-700 it works great, but anything over 200 is just fine

The K2 is a good mech. But I would not use flamers. Flamers are known, as the most useless weapon, in this game. Firing them will overheat you qickly, and they do very little damage.
Better take some medium lasers. They have the same weight and are much better than flamers. And you don´t need 3 tons of machine gun ammo. One ton gives you 2000 shots which is enough for most matches.

You can also put some big autocannons into the K2.

honestly, i never tried that, but i do know flamers are not all that great... but that does not mean they cant work, but i would do something like this.... Or drop endo, and go with medium pulse, and extra heat sinks

or this... maybe...

Ok,i like that, with some modification, since legs are vulnerable for beign destroyed with the ammo,i put more armor toó,but at cost of cooling:

And now my loadout without flamers, for close quarters battles:

I prefer the last one over the first, however have low cooling the two.

First of all,i need to say that the K2 variant was my favorite over others but since in my last laptop,my fps are poor and the only weapons i can manage was the lrms,i bought the 1A as the first choice, but from now,all cbills learned going for buy the K2. And maybe i máster it.

well, ammo in the CT is a very bad idea... In my 900 matches in catapults, I've never been legged... If you want it in the torso, stick it in the side.
