Letting the other thread go and starting fresh here. Ill start with semi recent to current works of art from drawings to recolors. Any questions or whatever i dont mind giving advice and ideas.


Currently ive been in study mode with machines and bounce from that to manga styled art and its quite a growing process also if anyone wanna check more of my stuff my deviant art is in the siggy or here; http://tigeri210.deviantart.com/

We'll start off with the random robot study just to get the idea of how machines worked and where they went. I learned quite alot from this.




Next is the grizzly that ive redone from the poster i made that had that and the Nova Cat. some variation and minor improvements.



Now the current since i redid th Grizzly i thought it was time to redo the Nova Cat. I dumped what i learned and it took a few attempts and finally i got the shapes down and perspective i wanted.

A bit of an update to keep this alive. After see all the talks recently about Harmony Gold. Ive taken the liberty of swinging the hammer onto the anvil to rebuild the Warhammer top to bottom while keeping its load out and points the same. I may do multiples of versions just to get the ideas out there that it can be done and someday be done with the HG curse that keeps them away.

Aye i also have Sarna to go off of and currently im doing the WHM-4L 2 ERPPC's, 4 MPLS, 1 SS6. since it was the top variant on the list.

Here's one of the experimental redesigns done. I went with a more jutting and bulking torso and threw on chicken legs.

First thing that came to mind was "hauptmann" at first glance. The bulkier arms are well done but in my mind is the one iconic thing about the Warhammer that really turn the mech into something else if tampered with. Yes even more than reversed joint legs
Given any thought to mounting a big flashlight on the left shoulder ?

The overall goal is to make it different and avoid things that could be seen by HG as "using their design" While keeping its namesake. Maybe a light on the next one im currently working on. What i usually think of when i hear Warhammer is the duel ppc death machine as well and i think one having bulk and a hand gives it something different.

The next will be more hominid since i thought and did the chicken legs first. What do most people think when they hear the name Warhammer?

also; i think the cockpit can look better xD i keep doing boxy looking ones.

I understand, I would approach the challenge with a certain silouhette in mind rather than a weapons loadout. For instance, on this one, keep everything the same, rotate the SRM launcher 90 degrees, add a flood light on the other side and already it looks much more familiar and yet completely different from the HG design.

About the cockpit, I like the design but what if you slid it down the CT section it's on ? I mean leave the back of it where it is but more the window ... ferro-glass shield, down towards that ridge on the CT section. ( as I type this I'm thinking it might make it too similar to a Thug but who knows ? It might work )
