They should do the following:

Award those who bought the tier 4 pheonix package with 4 mechs of their choice except for heroes. Tier 3, 3 mechs. Tier 2 mechs, 2 mechs. Tier 1, 1 mech.

And then allow everyone to buy the Pheonix mechs.

Otherwise, I know personally, when they said it would not be available again, I wanted to buy it and not miss out.

It worked on me, otherwise, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

It just seems unfair that they marketed it like that, but now it's going to be available. I feel if they are going to make it available they should reward those who bought it originally with something, and I think a mech per tier is fair.

The only reward I want is for the (P)rison variants to actually be good robots*.

Also make the (P)rison Lolcust's roll cage not visible from the cockpit, because that just adds insult to injury (already mediocre variant).


*Excluding the Wolvie because it's already superquirked to be strong in its niche.

Today I blew a year's worth of dust off my (P) mechs, and guess what - they are great, even the Battlemaster! Lolcust of course is out of the question, even Commando the Lyran protomech would be better for me, but all others just rock. Or maybe it is all about IS god-mode quirks, I have no way of telling. Phoenix mediums are best IS mediums, that is all. Back to OP, personally I am still waiting for PGI to grant us the Clan Wave 2+3 award, not even speaking of Wave 1+2+3. I mean they gave us the Madd Dawg for Wave 1+2, so what now?

The retroactive bonus of R1 4th variant I see as a means to boost sales with on-going R2 packages.

R2 did not benefit from the Sept 14 anniversary bonus, which Phoenix users did. which is maybe why they thought something should be done to incentivise R2, or even boost R1 sales.

I'm not sure we want to go ahead and start doing the same retroactively. Unless its an entirely new variant, those that already own Phoenix and bought the 4th variants for their mechs separately, would seem disadvantaged when being presented with another copy of that same mech, as compared to "newer" adopters of Phoenix who probably would not have an issue of a "copy"

Also, Phoenix has got their HEROS. Clans don't. Clan package sales are the only way to get HERO equivalents.

Could you make a thread about this specifically so I can like it, quote it, and then pass out flyers on the street for it? It took me about 2 seconds to remember why I never piloted the LCT-1V. I hate that thing.

As for rewards for the Phoenix package, if it goes on sale again it's a given. They do early adopter rewards in addition to other promotions for each package these days. If they did some sort of bonus module or fourth variant promotion then it'd only be fair to add it to old packages as well.

Only those who bought it originally are getting the vote.
So if you dont want others in your "Order of the Pheonix" then vote NO.

If the vote is YES then other Phoenix obviously dont share your feelings about exclusivity. Democracy.

i think people who buy mc should get some loyalty rewards. even if its just a badge that says 'im not a freeloader'.

Why? Don't get me wrong, I don't think Phoenix players don't deserve an attaboy, but 4 Mechs of the players choice is a bit over the top. Other rewards have been "Oh you bought "this", Here's a "Thank You". Hope you like it.
