Does anybody see mechs like the Brigand, using some clan tech like a fusion engine, as possibility in MWO?

There's also some Clan mechs with IS tech. The Wulfen is a good example, using an IS XL Gyro to save weight and also using IS Stealth Armor to be sneakier, while all other parts are Clan-made.

Pardon? Brigand is built with the common IS technology. No ClanTech present.

Yes, Wulfen is from 3137. Now we are in 3051 (or maybe 3050 or 3052; PGI itself seems quite unsure ;) ).

It doesn't really say anything about the engine of MW4 Mercs, but on the wiki it has a fusion engine. In MWO only clannies have fusion engines.

Yes, well, when old man Kerensky took off with the King Crab and other designs from the Old Star League, the Clans built themselves off those `Mechs till Clan Coyote developed the OmniTechnology that we now have with the Timber Wolf, etc. Most of those designs are still in use with Solahma and Second-line troops. Such as the Hunchback C and IIC variants. It's what Task Force Bulldog and Serpent faced with the Jags.

IMO, plenty of them to go around. :)

LOL, no.

Fusion engines are used to power both IS and Clan BattleMechs (very rare exceptions exists, however).

What type of engine do you think your IS 'Mechs in MWO have?

Negative. Standard engines are fusion engines. It is how they work. Then we have Clan Extra-Light and Inner Sphere Extra-Light engines. And eventually extra-extra light engines....

It's all IS tech.

It's equipped with a STD 150 fusion engine, just in the way that a Firestarter is equipped with a STD 210 fusion engine and a Timberwolf is equipped with a Clan XL 375 fusion engine.

Brigand is also equipped with ER Medium Lasers, with is typical IS technology in the 3060's.

All current BattleMechs run on fusion engines. 'Mechs which use Internal Combustion Engines, Fission Engines, or Fuel Cells are freakishly rare. The Clans have more compact XL engines as befits their greater advancements in military technology.

I'd love some isMLs for the Nova.

6 MLs 6 ERSLs, 60 alpha, no ghost heat, similar heat (but more range).

Anyways, to answer your question in the OP...

probably not. We won't be seeing IS mechs with Clan technology in MWO because MWO is set in the early 3050's (presently 3052 or thereabouts). Much of the intermingling of technology doesn't start until at least 3057.

What we might see, however, are IIC mechs. They are Clan versions of IS mechs. Things like the Hunchback IIC, Commando IIC, Highlander IIC, Shadowhawk IIC. PGI used to hold the position that IIC mechs were never going to be introduced to the game, but more recently they've stated that they are considering it and that it's a definite possibility. Some of the IIC mechs are Unseen, so there are complications as to whether they will be remodeled, or simply use the same models as the Phoenix mechs already in the game. Or they might not even be included. But not all IICs are Unseen. There's also the added complication that some IICs are different tonnages from their IS counterparts.
