ATTENTION MECHWARRIORS:

Ghost Bear Kodiak Pride (unit call sign: GBKP) is an Oceanic, Clan-based unit that has been steadily growing and is still looking for new recruits!

Don't let our home time-zone scare you off! We currently field members from as far west as Indonesia and as far east as the East Coast of the United States - that's 13 time-zones and there's a good chance that we've got someone online when YOU WANT TO PLAY!

If you're further to the east or west we're still interested in you - the more time-zones the merrier! We're looking forward to the day that the sun never sets on our unit.

What's more - we're still looking to grow RIGHT NOW - and experience isn't a pre-requisite!

ALL TIERS are welcome. Active players and semi-active players alike. We don't discriminate because we know that all the members of our unit are people with REAL lives that need living.

If you've got a lot of experience we'll give you the opportunity to help us train our growing cadre of Ghost Bears and put that experience to good use! We've developed some good leaders over the past year and we're always looking for others to take on new roles and responsibilities as we grow our capability base.

Though we're IN IT TO WIN IT every time we drop, we'd rather have fun than obsess about it.

By MWO standards we're still a pretty new unit - having only started recruitment efforts in May of 2015. We're closing in on our first full year of recruiting and we've grown from a small handful of guys who just enjoyed dropping together into a unit that is closing in on the 65 member mark. We're hoping that if you're reading this that you're the kind of MechWarrior that wants to help us build and grow strong...

Current Faction warfare changes now charge us C-Bills for recruiting out of our unit coffers. At our current membership level that means we're being charged close to 3.500,000 C-Bills a recruit.

But...

WE'RE STILL INTERESTED IN RECRUITING YOU AND IN RETAINING YOU AS A UNIT MEMBER.

So be advised:

We've recently voted in a single change where we will require monthly in-game C-Bill dues for all members above the Sibkin level once you're fully integrated with the unit. It's not a change we wanted to make, but in order to keep growing we'll need to keep our coffers full in order to find and recruit new talent.

That's the bad news.

The good news is that the dues aren't all that steep (and don't need to be when you're approaching 65 members!).

I'm interested, maily for the current event but we'll see. I was in a house kurita group before but for unknown reasons they broke up so no drops.
currently im in Kurita as lone wolf/was trying to be merc but that's too hard. got confused so now im aloyalist...,
But sick of losing to clan all the time.
my best mechs are actually clan, and I spent most of my skills and modules on clan but I wanted to try some of my IS mechs in CW.
big mistake.
I have quite a few GB points so I figure I might as well try it again.

many favourite mechs, dep[ends on thegame r ping. but ipicked IS for the FW and im suffering badly. most of my mechs are build for missile or balistioc, and the high pngs and maps are just proving a bad combo for me.

in Clan, I have a couple of nice direwolves/daishi and the usual rest of them (I got the whole pack when they first came out except the top one.)
I put most f my effort into clan once it came out.
