That's a pretty modest gpu, if the rest of the system isn't too silly you might be better off with a higher quality lower capacity psu.

Why are you getting the 650 by the way? It's end of life, where I live it's overpriced, only a few in stock.

I'm getting this so that when recording, my FPS doesn't go down the tube.

The next reason is that a new recording software called "shadowplay" by Nvidia allows flawless videos without any major impact on performance, but only supports GTX models.

I have all the requirements except for that GTX, so, that's all I'm aiming for (and a Power supply)

Well, get a gtx 750 if that's priced similar, that's an even lower power consumption card so you might not need to upgrade the psu.

Almost none: Both 750s get 100% of their power from the PCI-E slot … But it's still posable the PSU will choke.

I'd say a 300W, maybe even a 250W would be fine depending on CPU, Overclocks, ETC.

Well, I've got a intel i3 duo core.

And a power supply of 230... short of 250 ;(

230W, didn't know psu's went that low, you sure it's not 230 volt?

Does it have the normal psu physical size?

Anyways going to go find a reliable 400W and get a GTX 650 at a reasonable price, should cost me around $150USD if I do it right.

Assuming it's a 1st Gen i3 (Clarkdale) with a 73W TDP, Not OCed, 90% Utilization, 2 Sticks of DDR3 RAM, GTX 750 With Physx, 1 SATA 7200RPM HDD, 1 CD/DVD Burner, 2 USB Devices Drawing Power, 1 Regular 80mm Fan & 2 Regular 120mm Fans, 90% System Load & No Capacitor Aging selected, PSU Calculator Lite Shows Minimum PSU Wattage of 246W, Recommended PSU Wattage of 296W. if it's a 4th Gen i3 (Haswell-DT) with a 54W TDP then you can shave off 15W (231W Minimum, 281W Recommended), if it's a Low Power i3 (With a T at the End) with a 35W TDP then it would be 216W Minimum and 266W Recommended.

Edit: I'd say go with a 500W+ instead of a 400W so you won't have to possibly upgrade the PSU when you go to upgrade the GPU Again
