Can we please all drop the roleplay nonsense about Clans vs Inner Sphere when we're actually discussing game balance? It does matter in CW, but that's quite a small percentage of the game. If we could get past bashing the other imaginary side and try to work out a solution together it would be better for everyone in the long run. So, please everybody can we kiss and make up, then work together to make Comstar play nice with our toys.

Or like in the old days, the Victor...getting that list 5 miles long of mobility and agility nerfs....
Rather PGI needs to get a clue and actually try to balance their game and realize how their game and its pieces fit together.
Clans are using predominately laser vomit, TBRs and SCRs....why? PGI doesnt care, they just see the TBR/SCR is used alot and its winning, so it must be OP. Lets not look at the fact the other CLan mechs are less then desirable so not many really play them. THen they run laser vomit alot cuz the other weapons are actually so bad no one in their right mind would use them. And that Lasers had been buffed up so significantly that why would anyone want to use anything else?
Is TBR/SCR good? sure, but giving already long ass burn times even longer burn times? Anyone actually thinks that is the right move? Force a change of build by simply making one build useless? basically like waht happened to poptarts/PPC/AC builds, Guass builds.....lets not try to actually balance it, make changes, use the PTS and test stuff out......lets just make stuff so bad people change to something else.
THen after a few months and the next meta comes in, lets wait and nerf that to....then when that meta is useless we find another and eventually the cycle begins again...

Because that is a lot of work...and who wants to do work.
You cannot know how much fun I would have tweaking all the numbers for the weapons in this game.
I have my own mod in Men of war, ive been tweaking numbers in it since like 2011 when I first started to make it. Its about where I want it now.
I would love to tweak MWO numbers.
I would spend the next 5 years playing in the PTS testing out number changes and all that haha.

I dont think it should take less time to kill something. TTK seems about right when your firing 20-30 points of damage at a time. THe 60-100 point lolphas into peoples faces is when TTK seems entirely to short.....
