Just wanted to provide some feedback on the Phoenix Rising tournament.

I really like the new formula for scoring. This is the first time I'm aware that I've been in the top 50 on a scoreboard (the tournament is not over yet, so I will probably drop below 50 again, but it's good to know that years of practice are finally paying off).

I think putting greater emphasis on actually contributing to the kill, rather than the luck of getting the last shot in, is what's making the difference. In previous tournaments I have often noticed players running up on someone just to hug them to death (and prevent others from getting line-of-sight), and while I still see it from time to time, it hasn't been as prevalent.

I'm not sure when you changed the scoring formula to its current iteration, but I'm in favor of keeping this version for future events.

overall the play level has seem better the last two tournaments. Much less kill whoring and suicide charging on the matches I have played. Still a lot of cowardice, idiocy and the usual nonsense, but as I said, it's pretty much the usual level of stupid, timid play, that we see daily. Which is a HUGE step up from most events, sadly.

30 Points should probably be dropped to 20, scoring for the tourny is pretty good.

Wish they were giving away a warhorn, I have plenty of standing items.
