We all have things we need to b!tch about. I've got some minor and some major things to complain about. From pricing stuff, mech designs, balance stuff, gameplay mechanics, netcode stuff, missing features, map stuff, you name it- there's a poo ton of things that need work. The forums are a mob of mongrels with the same notion. Take the mob with a grain of salt and keep moving forward. Too much vitriol and not enough deserved praise rampant with the kiddies lately.
Problems are inevitable, progress takes time and experimentation. Very few people here have much patience, and will piss up a storm over the most childish and dumb things. Half these players come here and post just to hear themselves talk, feel like their opinions count, and to over inflate their grievances. I'm not saying their grief is invalid, that's not a hall pass, I'm saying that things get blown way out of proportion when it comes to priorities versus solutions.
Some players are very passionate about this game with high (sometimes even impossible) expectations, and react because of slow progress fulfilling those expectations.
Some players are just whiny babies aggravated because they get their a$$es kicked and don't understand why. (Thanks, Obama... Lol)
It must be a real chore trying to weed through all the noise here trying to find ways of appeasing us via good or bad advice. Everybody here seems to think they've got the ultimate fix for everything and that their personal ideas are the only way they'll feel satisfied.
Problem in general is that most humans are shifty [unts with no understanding of the process.
So instead of adding to the list of things to complain about, I'm going to give this one post about knowing how far things have come (because I've logged 10,000+ games since closed beta), recognizing how much work and effort this game entails, and even with all things needing attention; I'm thankful for the effort and the struggle. I know perfecting this crap is harder than the forum trolls (sometimes including myself) will let on. We do appreciate it.
Due diligence and time. Thank you for building MWO, and putting up with all our $h!t.
{we now return to my regular programmed nagging
