how the loyalty rewards will work and what fraction loyalty will give,
so here's how i see CW playing out in general,
note some may already be on the drawing board,
as we don't know whats fully coming with CW,
-0-
my solution to that is a more dynamic Galaxy system,
lets assume at battles go on for 24 hours or until a criteria is met,
if the criteria is 1000 total battle points, and a victory is worth 50 points,
and a match is 30 minutes, the total points that can be gained is 2400,
so 1200 for each side is its a close battle, first to 1000 points win,
but also if time runs out the side with the most points win,
i feel adding in some fake logistics, could make CW feel more authentic,
first off Capital planets cant be conquered and taken over by another faction,
second, the farther you invade into enemy territory the less you get in battle points,
for instance on the boundary you would get 50 battle points for victory or both sides.
for attacking farther inward, the attacking may get 40 and the defending 60 points,
this will keep the game feeling dynamic as if logistics had been added with out it,
so in territory considered your factions you have the points advantage,
-0-
now people may say well what about changing your faction,
but first let me cover Loyalty points, and how they should work,
faction loyalty points, start at 0, and transition from 0 to 250 max,
when you do a mission for your faction you gain loyalty points,
you also lose loyalty points to the faction your against,
how these points are dynamic, is in how they are earned,
as you gain more points it becomes harder to earn those points,
so you may need to do 20 missions to go from 1 loyalty to 20 loyalty,
but it may take you 50 missions to go from 150 loyalty to 160 loyalty,
why the dynamic increase well so you have to work for your rewards,
low cost rewards will be easier to earn than higher ones respectively,
-0-
now then, so you want to change your faction,
with out a reset this may be a problem, how be you balance this,
well loyalty points, leaving a faction you will lose 50 of that factions Loyalty,
this choice may push you into the negative loyalty for that particular faction,
now when you leave a faction you are set as a neutral(LoneWolf, Merc, loyalist),
in order to join another faction you have to have at least 20 loyalty for that faction,
this will stop people from switching too often as there would be no benefit in it,
but why change from one faction to another faction,
well factions will have unique times, that can be earned from that faction,
these are unique for each faction, and each will have be be earned,
-0-
now for your factions loyalty and their rewards,
when you earn loyalty points you can spend them on faction related items,
these can be from Faction Camos, faction Cockpit Items, or Mehc Cosmetics,
these items may be bought multiple times for all the players mechs,
what do i mean by mech cosmetics,
each Faction produces a particular type of mech,
i under stand that multiple factions could produce one type of mech,
so the faction that produced most of the variants of that type of mech,
will get the cosmetic options for that mech, as loyalty rewards,
Cosmetics that we could choose to make our mech our own,
additions that could be easily added to a mech to enhance its look,
and would allow a mech to change portions of its appearance,
below are some mechs and how their cosmetics could be applied,
Atlas's(Faces)= unique Masks, overlaid on the existing face,
Centurion(Shield)= custom & unique shields, added over existing shield,
Jagermech's(Spoiler)= custom spoiler on top of mech, added over existing spoiler,
Catapult(Nose)= unique mech nose, with fins ect, overlaid on the existing nose,
Ravens(Nose)= unique mech nose, with fins ect, overlaid on the existing nose,
KitFox's(LeftArm)= symmetrical arms, style of the right arm, replacing the left arm,
...as well as others, small armor plates that could be added on or over shoulders,
again these add-ons would be a mostly cosmetic, as they would not add anything extra,
if an add-on is attacked the mech takes damage to where the add-on was attached to,
as such at most they would increase the size of the mech which isn't really a bonus,
these cosmetics, would be bought as using loyalty points,
giving faction loyalty a greater purpose than just belonging to a faction,
as well as give players more options with their Battle/Omni Mechs,
as a modeler i know how these all factor in to this,
but i do feel these additions could help lighten the load on PGI,
rotating modelers from mech generation to this one at a time,
allowing them to vent and relax instead of getting burnt out,
and they would still be producing for the players and PGI,

now i know CW will be coming out in the next 2-3 months,
and it may be too late for these options to be added in Phase-2,
however all 4 of these options Warfare/Loyalty/Faction/Cosmetics,
can be added ether before or after the implementation of CW-P2,
but they could just as well be added with CW Phase-3 as well,
also as to why this Topic is broken into 4 parts,
so each of these systems could be added individually,
Warfare/Loyalty/Faction/Cosmetics can be added one at a time,
so this could be a huge update or in time over several months,
as a programer i know how this may impact the game,
but i feel the benefits of these systems would be great,
