dropped in my last mech for a community warfare match and was unable to move. The mech drop screen remained on display and perpetually counted down from 30 to 0 until match end..even after that particular battlemech was destroyed.

I've had the same in an earlier patch, it was fixed by me by exiting the match and rejoining.
This is apparently an older problem that hasn't been fixed yet.

Got the same yesterday. Esc -> quit match -> Rejoin worked for me.
