The problem with allowing fully custom decals is that every one of them would have to be approved by PGI. Someone would have to go through them all and that would mean they probably would have to charge MC for them.
If we allowed this game's community to put any custom decals on their mechs they wanted, we'd see some really nasty and rude stuff.

It doesn't have to be custom decals, just decals in general.... (as long as there are a lot to pick from).

I'm just curious why we don't have House/Clan decals. Or Regimental Decals.
These don't require any oversight, they already have the art, and it's not rocket science to put them in.

I'm sure we will get them in 90 days or some multiple of said 90 days.
Truthfully, it's small potatoes to PGI which is weird because they should be able to sell them in a true form of micro-transaction (hopefully a buck a decal or a "Equip them all for only $9.99 sale)..

I should be able to put a Steiner decal(s) on my 'mech for free.
I'd pay 5$ to put a Skye Rangers decals on all my 'mechs, as that is my Regiment.
I'd pay 1$ per decal to put cool 'nose art' and characterful decals on a 'mech. Many of my favorite 'mechs would get a decal. Some would get two or three.
