These are actually very simple but would help immensely to improve the gaming experience. I really don't know why the devs didn't came up with it themselves in the first place.

1) Save the settings you had before you joined a match or logged out of the game. There's nothing more annoying to having to set the settings for the way you want your mechs to be presented over and over again.

One click on "select mech" should be enough to portray the select screen the way you had it last time and the way you want it to be.

2) Enable a setting to hide "invalid" mechs. After all a lot of players switch engines.

3) Give us a quick select bar with between 5 and 10 small markers that are always available to click at, no matter where you currently are in the UI. Little boxes with 1, 2, 3 etc. in the size of the friends button at the bottom would actually do and already be enough. The whole space left from the friends button between those two triangles would be ideal.

The idea behind is that with just one click you could instantly switch between your favorite mechs. With the new Mech Select Menue, you could simply allocate mechs to the shortcuts buttons either by drag and drop or by pressing the allocated slot number on your keyboard while hovering above the mech.

When you'd hover your cursor over the quickbar slot e.g. slot 3, it would simply pop up the designation in a small window like "COM-1B" and maybe the individual mech name.

To be fair there are major differences in what we suggest and presentation alike but as I said I really wondered why the devs haven't come up with the overlapping parts of our suggestions themselves when they were brainstorming about how to improve the Mech Select Screen.

The main criticism on the mech select screen was always the amount of useless clicks and time you had to invest for changing your mechs while trying to navigate through the complexity of the labyrinth called the Mech Select Screen. The new one is certainly a improvement visuals wise but not so much regarding the ease of accessability. To automatically safe your settings or allow to hide disabled mechs or a quick selection bar that we once already had should have been an obvious first step before going into any details
