Nova Cat.

They join the Smoke Jags in their invasion corridor.
They are instrumental in the IS resistance (Operation Bulldog/Scorpion).
Of the "add-on" Clans, they are the most known/popular.

Clan Diamond Shark

As if it was not already obvious enough with my sig.

*Reads through thread* Wow, a lot of people like the Sharks... This pleases me. ^_^

Clan Wolverine (Not-Named).

They were "annihilated" before the Invasion, but if they were introduced as some sort of quasi bandits or pirates, that could be an interesting idea.

I read the remnants of the Not Named Clan did arrive prior to the invasion as the "Minnesota Tribe".

That is a terrible name. Sounds less like a band of marauders and more like a minor league baseball team.

Most post annihilation is not real solid cannon anyway. I'd say PGI can Dow what they want with this one.

Add more clans just for the sake of content! IS packs comes with much more colours and itens because they have 6 factions, while we have only 3 clans... I don't mind the other clans aren't in game yet, but at least give us the colours, skins and itens!

Clans prices are much higher to have less content... >:(

Totem mech: Highlander IIC

You do realize there "Can Only Be One" So a Touman of one Highlander IIC mech would suck pretty bad in this game. It wouldn't be able to jump or do much with this games broken mechanics. :P

I'd personally prefer "Clan Fix-this-game."

There can be only one! Unless it's the TV show, then there can be many.

Or, go to Zeist and...oh, well let's just forget about that one. That was Conner's bad dream after eating a late night snack of pizza before going to bed.

My thoughts is perhaps they could have the additional clans attack the southern states, because atm it's only the top three that are taking the brunt. I'm not sure whether they are sticking to the lore or not though.

Attacking from the 'south' isn't really feasible, as that's not 'south' as it's just directly across the Inner Sphere from the direction the Clans are coming from, and that is a very very long way to travel in a straight line, much less go all the way around the IS to avoid detection before attacking from that point. It's not tactically viable, liking trying to attack Bejing China by coming through Europe first.

Nova Cats, Diamond Shark and Steel Viper, you know, part of the actual Invasion in canon.

Wouldn't mind seeing Mongoose, but like Widowmakers and Wolverine, they are no longer in existence.

Didn't one of the clans outflank the IS though by going the long way around and hitting them in the side rather than their typical approach? I could of swore they did it after the Refusal or something.

I don't know, I didn't pay any attention to the BTech universe shortly after the Invasion and Tukayyid, the game went off the rails for me at that point.

Going 'around' the outside of the IS, easy enough to DO, but it takes a long time to do it. Each Jump can travel a max of 30 light years distance, and that's it. Most jumps are shorter because there's not always a safe place every 30 LY. The Jump takes that '*' long, but the time to recharge and jump again is typically weeks, so resources, food/water/air, are a big factor in how long any given ship can travel without having to resupply. And resupplying means having to find a planet that's earthlike, etc, and that means days or weeks of time in dropships going from the jumpship to the planet and back, however much time spent on the planet making sure everything is safe and actually gathering it. It's not something you do for grins and giggles.

Going completely around the IS to attack from the other side, that's a incredibly long trip, 2 years or so without having to stop for supplies, which you'd need to do, so perhaps 3 years total travel time.

Hasn't the currently timeline moved on 2 years now though, so perhaps these clans could start showing up?

Diamond sharks
Novacat
Blood spirit

All great ideas but we can hardly afford to split are low clan numbers further.

Clan Star Adder is my first pick, but I would love to see Clan Diamond Shark as well.

I hope that, at the very least, we got cockpit items, decals, and camo schemes for all the clans. CW doesn't need to be spread any thinner than it currently is, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to represent out preferred clans in some way.
Items for the major merc units would be great to, IMO.

The clans that followed were Nova Cat, Steel Viper and Diamond Shark. They also took part in the Battle of Tukayyid.

I'm a hipster so Clan Blood Spirit for me. Even though they are the smallest Clan, they excel in training quality warriors, has unusually close bond with their civilian caste, and is the only Clan that is not named after an animal. ;)
http://www.sarna.net...an_Blood_Spirit

Their totem mech Blood Kite is a fugly mech, even though it is gonna be an AWESOME Lurmer. :D

i wonder what they wear instead of ceremonial animal masks
