Since the Timber Wolfs were nerfed to the ground does anyone have any good builds since lasers now are pretty much useless.

Just experiment around with ballistics and SRMs. You'll find the TBR isn't in fact nerfed to the ground.

I'm asking for builds, not your opinion. Stay on topic. Thank you.

I bought one on the crazy sale, saved 5.3 million for TBR-PRIME :)

Anyways, I suck ass with it :(

Although I did find a build that let me deal good damage in a few matches. CUAC20, 3 tons ammo, 4 SRM 4s, 4 tons ammo, 2 CMPL's.

Have you elited it? Do you equip JJs? They do make a difference to Timber's mobility.

My first time with it was also not a good one. But as time passed, moving and jumpjetting with it becomes a second nature. I hope that you will feel the same!

Never the less, I still find the "Wub Bringer w/out ECM" to still be incredibly effective.

@ Burktross

^ That build must run hot, doesn't it?

Though I'm disgusted by the TBR nerfs, I always thought the greatest thing about playing Mechwarrior was customizing your mechs, finding and tweeking your own builds to what you need, and to fit your playstyle.

Stop asking for builds. A new meta. Find your own and play the game.

It's more than manageable. The sheer damage output is well worth it.

Just so you know, "to the ground" is the lowest tier. So when something is "nerfed to the ground" it means something is taken from another tier (usually highest) to the lowest tier. It does not mean to take something from the highest tier and put it lower on the highest tier.

The more you know. ~*

I thought the TBR and SCR are still T1.

Sorry I was unclear. I'm explaining the term about the TBR and this phase:

TBR and SCRs still being T1 was my implied point.

I'm not asking for your opinion on the nerf of the TBR I'm asking for some new builds since the nerf. I don't care if you like it or not.

Well, you are in General Discussion.

If you don't want responses to your opinion on TBR being "nerfed to the ground" don't mention it or go the Guides and Strategies > Battlemechs

When I meant 'Nerfed to the ground" I meant that builds that use lasers in general were dead. Pretty much feels that way to be honest. That's why I'm asking if anyone has any new builds since the (in my opinion) overzealous nerf.

I award you 7 fedoras for equipping MGs on a Timber Wolf. But I must deduct 2 fedoras for using Streaks.

Not bad though.
