Same. I'd be happy to buy my Mauler early, but there's no reason to. Instead, I'm going to wait for more info.

Unless, of course, the devs were to... reevaluate the policy...

You guys should show the quirks for the new Resistance 1 variants that we get on June 2, it will at least give an idea of what those mechs will be going for.

I understand that they are subject to change, but looking at the Hopper for instance, will those quirks be focused on weapon ranges or cooldowns? Weapon quirks or durability quirks? That kind of thing.

Or maybe more details on hardpoint locations.

Might encourage people to spring for it.

Just to be clear, I wouldn't expect and Resistance 2 quirks, because the mechs haven't even been tested yet. I assume they do some sort of testing prior to deciding what kind of quirks to give it.

These quirks were released a long time ago. You can check the quirks of all released mechs here.

EDIT: oh, you are talking about the unreleased 4th variants... :\

I am talking about the Irresistable Resistance Deal Mechs. If you bought the Wrath Pack and the Mauler Pack before the end of may, you get another Panther, Enforcer, Grasshopper, and Zeus. Those are the ones I am referring to.

These are IS Mechs, they will not be nerfed!

I am still waiting for info on Clan Wave 3, like in-game renders, size comparison, quirks, just anything. And these are released in 3 (three) weeks and should be ready anyway.

I suppose, I think it is pretty clear that between the two mechs dropping in June, The Ebon Jaguar is going to be excellent regardless of quirks, and the Executioner will likely be average to slightly above average. Clan quirks are typically pretty minor and aren't as defining as IS quirks are.

You know how they say "Pics or it didn't happen?" In this case it's "Quirks or it doesn't happen."

it's been said before, but it's worth repeating. Show me why I can't live without a Crab when I already have a Hunchback 4P and a Centurion AL mastered out. Show me what the Wolfhound does that I can't even dream about doing in my Firestarter. Show me why I need the Black Knight because my Thunderbold just doesn't energy boat like that.

Well, okay, maybe not the Black Knight. I may buy that one just because it's sexy. but A La Carte doesn't get early adopter rewards... so show me the quirks to make me buy all three!

PGI, is there any way to give us quirks ahead of time? I feel like that's what will make or break this pack. Case in point, the Black Knight looks just like the Grasshopper. If it's quirked the same, then why buy it? I can't buy the R2 pack without knowing more about the Mechs! More disclosure = more purchases.

The reason they don't disclose it is because quirks are subject to change and shouldn't be the defining factor. Unfortunately, they ARE the defining factor. I think the best way to disclose more is to explain what the quirks will focus on.

For instance, looking at the Grasshopper 5H, it focuses on energy cooldown, energy heat generation, durability, and acceleration

The Black Knight could be different by focusing on energy range and torso twist speed instead of cooldown and acceleration. (I think the energy heat generation and durability should also apply to the BK)
