Well, just found...

It is possible to put camo to PRIME(I) model. What a surprise.

Russ said they're planning on allowing camo on all 'special' mechs.

It's just going to take them like a decade to do that.

I think its in the Patch Notes or the Roadmap....but its somewhere. And yes this is happening soon ™
